Assalamualaikum β€¦β€Ž Hi Guys, welcome back to our channel β€œThe Hasan Video”.β€Ž β€Ž[REQUEST] Hi Mom …
Can you please make the Net Crepes video tutorial?β€Ž Here we go …
β€Žβ€œWatermelon-like Net Crepes” β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€œWatermelon-like Net Crepes” β€¦β€Ž
It looks so tempting ain’t it?β€Ž It’s going to be so easy and simple.β€Ž And sure … its taste is remarkably great.β€Ž BTW …
Today’s recipe is inspired by Mrs. Fatihah recipe from Malaysia.β€Ž But without the slightest disrespect β€¦β€Ž I’ve made some changes in its Kinca Soup ingredients
to get it right to my taste.β€Ž Okay … Thanks a lot Mrs. Fatihah for kindly sharing
her remarkable recipe.β€Ž May God bless you with healthy and lucky life …
Ameeen β€¦β€Ž Well Guys …
Without any further ado, let’s just check it out.β€Ž Ingredients and Directions First, let’s get started with the Kinca Sauce.β€Ž What we need are:β€Ž β€Ž350 ml of Water.β€Ž Bring it to boil β€¦β€Ž Once boiled, add about 150-180 g Brown Sugar
or coarsely shaved brown sugar.β€Ž Actually, you can freely adjust the amount
of the brown sugar to match your taste.β€Ž Bring it to a boil, until the sugar dissolves.β€Ž Then add Β½ tsp of Fine Salt.β€Ž Sufficient liquid vanilla – about 2 to 3 drops,
Well it’s replaceable with 1 tsp Vanilla powder.β€Ž Then here I have the coconut milk solution.β€Ž It’s a mix of 65 ml of instant Thick Coconut Milk
with water to a volume of 300 ml.β€Ž Okay …
Pour it up.β€Ž Stir well and bring it to boil over medium heat.β€Ž Once it’s boiling, add the cornstarch solution β€¦β€Ž This is a mix of 20 g or about 1 tbsp of cornstarch,
dissolved into 100 ml of water, stir well.β€Ž Okay … pour it in.β€Ž Stir it for a brief …
Cook until the sauce is thick and bubbly.β€Ž BTW … For even better results – if you like,
you can also add 2 tbsp of creamer powder.β€Ž Stir it well until the creamer dissolves.β€Ž Moreover, to add a special taste,
Here I add enough coffee flavor – at about 1 tsp.β€Ž So – in conclusion, you can modify the Kinca soup
to match it up with your own taste.β€Ž Ok Guys …
Once it's thick enough, turn off the heat.β€Ž Once it’s cooled down,
pour it into a container.β€Ž Well, it’s better to filter/strain it up
as to get it soft and free of granules.β€Ž Set aside.β€Ž BTW …
For the thickness, it is actually up to your own taste.β€Ž If you prefer the sauce thicker in texture,
you can cook the sauce a little longer β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ until it gets really thick like this.β€Ž Then here I add Chocolate flavor,
also as to get it looks darker in color.β€Ž And then 2 tbsp of Maizena flour
as to get it looks thicker in texture.β€Ž So, you can freely choose either to pick
the original brown sugar version β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ or the coffee flavored one,
or even the darker and thicker Chocolate version.β€Ž Exactly …
The choice is in yours.β€Ž You can freely choose your own choice for sure.β€Ž Next …
Let’s now make the Watermelon-like Net Crepes.β€Ž Here we go β€¦β€Ž β€Ž330 g or about 22 tbsp of Cake flour.β€Ž β€Ž1 tsp Vanilla powder.β€Ž β€ŽΒ½ tsp fine Salt.β€Ž β€Ž2 medium-sized eggs.β€Ž If the size of the egg is large,
then it’s enough to just use 1 egg.β€Ž Add 400 ml of Water.β€Ž β€Ž140 ml UHT liquid milk,
you can replace it with 140 ml thick coconut milk.β€Ž Then 30 g melted margarine/butter β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ it’s replaceable with 3 tbsp of cooking oil.β€Ž Okay … mix well.β€Ž Well, for a maximum result,
we need to blend the batter until it's smooth.β€Ž So as usual, to smooth it out, here I trust
the MITOCHIBA food chopper to get it done.β€Ž Okay …
Blend until smooth.β€Ž This is the result.β€Ž Divide the batter into 4 parts β€¦β€Ž About 400 to 450 ml of batter in the first container.β€Ž Then 200 ml each in the 2nd and 3rd containers.β€Ž Then place the remaining batter in the 4th container
β€Žβ€“ at about 20 up to 25 ml.β€Ž Then prepare food coloring,
add red chili coloring to the batter in the first container.β€Ž Stir well.β€Ž Set aside.β€Ž Then just leave the batter in the second container white.β€Ž For the 3rd batter we will color it
with green leaves food coloring.β€Ž Then let’s just color the last one
with a black food coloring.β€Ž β€Ž# Note it…!β€Ž Next, place it into a plastic piping bag.β€Ž And here we go, Guys β€¦β€Ž Now the batter is ready for shaping and cooking.β€Ž Prepare a pan – at 20 to 22 cm diameter,
Switch on the stove with low heat.β€Ž Once the pan turns a bit hot,
spray the red batter.β€Ž Well, we need to cut the piping bag tip a little β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ as to prevent the batter from overly spreading out when β€Žpressed.β€Ž Add the black batter to form watermelon seeds.β€Ž Here I pour it using a pipette
from the used liquid Vanilla bottles, haha LOL.β€Ž Then add the white batter.β€Ž Then some green dough as desired.β€Ž Cook about 1 to 2 minutes over low heat,
until the batter is cooked.β€Ž Lift it up β€¦β€Ž Then fold it up to resemble a watermelon slice.β€Ž Now just shape the rest of the batter β€¦β€Ž BTW … Here its green edge looks more like a plate,
Why it doesn’t look curly as this one?β€Ž So, if you want to make the curly version,
here is the trick β€¦β€Ž The initial steps were the same as before,
only when pouring the green batter β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ the pattern is made into zigzag, like this.β€Ž Add the seeds.β€Ž Fold it up just like before.β€Ž Done …!β€Ž We can get about 25 to 30 pieces of
Watermelon-like Net Crepes from 1 recipe β€¦β€Ž But, well, for I can’t hold myself to take a bite or two …
Here are the survived breads that I can capture.β€Ž Okay … Since this bread is still neutral in taste,
so actually, for dipping the sauce β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ you can use a savory version of the sauce,
such as curry sauce, or cheese sauce and so on.β€Ž You can also use the previous sweet sauce that we made earlier.β€Ž BTW … The color of the bread doesn't have to be red either, β€ŽGuys.β€Ž It’s totally fine if you change it into yellow watermelon.β€Ž Here is how the yellow watermelon-like net crepes looks like.β€Ž For the method surely remains the same, Guys.β€Ž But by the way, I use piping bag instead of
pipettes to shape the seeds for this one.β€Ž And apparently the result can also be neat and smoothly round.β€Ž BTW … The batter for this bread uses coconut milk,
and the egg used is only one.β€Ž Then for the water measure I added it to 460 ml.β€Ž Well surprisingly, the result is pretty much close
to the Watermelon-like Net Crepes made with milk and 2 eggs.β€Ž So – in the end, it’s definitely up to your mood
to choose either using 1 or 2 egg.β€Ž Ok Guys … Now it’s time for Tips and Tricks
about Watermelon-like Net Crepes.β€Ž When shaping the batter,
we can also use this kind of piped sauce bottle.β€Ž Only if you use a bottle like this,
make sure its pipe’s hole is small.β€Ž So please avoid to use the bottle
with a big piped one.β€Ž If the pipe’s hole is too big,
then the result will become as chaotic as this one.β€Ž β€Ž**** Intermezzo ****β€Ž Well, you can use any tool available around,
but make sure the pipe’s hole size is small β€¦β€Ž β€Žβ€¦ that way the dough wouldn’t be prone to
splitting and spreading out here and there.β€Ž β€Ž# Note it…!β€Ž When making the dough, we can also add
β€Ž2-4 tbsp of Granulated sugar to taste, as to get a sweeter taste.β€Ž With this sugar additions, it’s surely
tastes great even without being eaten with Kinca sauce.β€Ž β€Ž# Note it…!β€Ž OK Guys β€¦β€Ž There we go everybody,β€Ž On how to easily make
β€Žβ€œWatermelon-like Net Crepesβ€β€Ž Á la The Hasan Video.β€Ž Hopefully this will be useful β€¦β€Ž And for those who choose to pick this recipe to start a business.β€Ž I wish you the best of luck for your business …
